I am staying at Sunset beach resort South of this Campground!!!!!!! I was looking around the area and found the Cherrystone family camping resort . I stopped in at security check point and asked if I could tour the faculty to possibly stay at in future. The guard pointed me to the check in office where he said if I put a $20.00 deposit with drivers license I would be able to tour facility .
I love this place....i rented a cabin last summer and when I got there the lights didn't work so obviously I notified the place. They sent a crew down to fix it and set me up in another cabin which was a total upgrade for the whole week I was there even tho they fixed the problem. The grounds are clean staff is polite and helpful. Great place to spend the summer vacation
I stepped into office and asked if I could tour but I didn't have cash on me. I offered a credit card as collateral . The desk clerk would not accept. I asked if she could ask a manager who was seated 4 seats down and she declined. This was just to Look at the facility. The cash or credit card would be returned after someone viewed so what is the difference Cash or credit?
What poor customer service . I will now never stay at this facility because of the poor reception!!!!
Stay here every year and looking forward to the two more weeks we have reserved. Generous campsites. Plenty to do for the entire family. Campsite are easy to get to. Staff and management very helpful. Bathrooms were brand new and immaculate. Store had very reasonable prices and everything you may need. I'm sure someone could find something to complain about, but you wont please them unless you hold their hand the entire time they are there.
We had a wonderful time! The store is well stocked and has RV parts. The little restaurant had a real nice breakfast. We will be back!

We absolutely loved staying here! We were only booked for 2 nights and ended up staying 5. It was great and the amenities were fabulous. They had just updated all the facilities. The campground was clean, kid friendly, general store had everything you needed and was not overpriced. I can not say enough about the camp staff and grounds itself. Simply beautiful and wonderful time was had by all!!
