Fabulous gem on the Eastern Shore. Very kid friendly, amazing beach, fragrant pine trees, and boat launch. We saw some hawks and water birds, hermit and horseshoe crabs. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and it was super cheap. We spent the whole day there and cancelled the rest of our plans. If it we're closer to DC or Virginia Beach it would be super crowded, but it isn't. Worth the drive.

Fantastic experience right here in VA. tent campground is clean and quiet. the beach is fantastic. On site camp store has firewood and all your other needs. Can't wait to go back next season

Great fishing and crabbing. Had a blast here. Also they have these really cool concrete ships that are far off on the shore. It looks pretty neat.

Great camping of any kind. Beautiful beach with a nice fishing pier nearby. The most beautiful sunsets you will ever see. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Clean restrooms.

Wow! We camped here in an RV and the campground itself was ok, you are pretty close to your neighbors without too much privacy, but none of that matters once you take the kayaks out to the “Ghost Ships.” That was an experience unlike any other. It was our first time kayaking in the ocean and the waves were a little rough, but once we got out to the old abandoned concrete ships, it was worth it! Pelicans have made their homes there and were flying over head. The ships were massive, pictures do not do them justice! That is definitely the highlight of the park, but there are also some very nice hiking trails and a beach area that we were able to take the dogs to. Wonderful state park!
